Robert D. Healy, Jr., 47, of 4037 North West Blitchon Road, Ocala, Fla., died at home Friday from medical complications.
His mother, Juanita Tirrell McGovern, lives in Pittsfield.
Born on April 16, 1959, in Northampton, son of the late Robert Healy Sr. and Juanita Tirrell Healy McGovern, he attended schools in Northampton and graduated from Hampshire Regional High School.
In 2000, he moved to Ocala, and worked for Services Industries. Prior to that, he was a machinist and worked at Quabbin Industries in Chicopee for many years.
Besides his mother, he leaves two daughters, Shannon Smith of West Stockbridge and Lauren Healy of Chesterfield; three sons, Robert Preston of Virginia, Jeremy Sigoski, NSAF, of Ohio, and Andrew Healy of Chesterfield; seven sisters, Theresa Scott of Chesterfield, Tracie Errichetto of Pittsfield, Samantha Healy of Washington, D.C., Veronica Brunell of Rhode Island, Maureen Healy and Michelle Marsden, both of New Hampshire, and Jacqueline Martin of Maine; six brothers, Frank Healy of Ocala, Fla., Keith Healy of Maryland, Arthur Errichetto Jr., William Errichetto and Dino Errichetto, all of Pittsfield, and Christopher Healy of Southampton; and three grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Robert Healy, Jr. who died Friday, Oct. 20, 2006, will be held Thursday, Oct. 26, at 2 p.m. at WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201, with the Pastor William Havens of Tabernacle Baptist Church, officiating.
Calling hours will be held one hour before the service from 1 to 2 p.m. Burial will be held in the Cummington Cemetery, Cummington.
He also leaves three grandchildren, Damien P. Kopetchny, Cole J. Pierce and Nathaneil Z. Smith; longtime friends Tony and Marilyn Simeone; several nieces and nephews; and a little dog, Buddy.
