Judith Roberts Perry

Judith Roberts Perry, 57, of 69 Onota St. died yesterday at home.

Born in Boston on April 9, 1949, daughter of Helen Roberts Perry and the late Thomas Doane Perry, she lived at and attended Wrentham State School until moving to Pittsfield in 1980.

Before retiring because of ill health, Miss Perry attended Berkshire County Arc's Day Habilitation Center. She was a volunteer at Berkshire Place, the Pittsfield Boys' and Girls' Club, the Christian Center and Elder Services of Berkshire County.

She was a member of First Baptist Church and enjoyed music and watching musicals, dancing, playing cards, scrapbooking and vacationing on Cape Cod and in Lake George, N.Y.

Besides her mother, of West Stockbridge, she leaves two brothers, Thomas Doane Perry III of Cambridge and Richmond and Rodney Britton Perry of Rochester, N.Y.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service for Judith Roberts "Judy" Perry, who died Oct. 29, 2006, will be conducted tomorrow, Oct. 31, at 11 at ROCHE FUNERAL HOME in Lenox by the Rev. William Furey, pastor of Berkshire Union Chapel.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be tomorrow from 10 until the time of the funeral. A reception to remember and honor Judy will be held at 69 Onota St. directly after the service. Burial at West Stockbridge Cemetery will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to BCARC or HospiceCare in the Berkshires, both in care of the funeral home, 120 Main St., Lenox, MA 01240.

She also leaves her sister-in-law, Karen Carmean, her dear friends, and past and present housemates, including Cindy, Janet, Susan, Tina, Joan and Barbara, with whom she lived for more than 20 years. Judy will be greatly missed by her family, her many friends and the staff who cared for her through the years. She will be best remembered for her kindness, her energy and her gleeful sense of humor. We will miss you "Cow."
