Cora F. Crosby, 92, of 242 Main St., Salem, N.H., formerly of 31 Springside Ave., died Saturday at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, N.H.
She moved to Salem a year ago.
Born in Pittsfield on Oct. 25, 1914, daughter of William and Sara Keating Harder, she was a 1932 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Mrs. Crosby was employed as a saleswoman at the former Paris Dress Shop for many years. Before that, she was a hairdresser at the former Alice's Beauty Salon on Elm Street.
She enjoyed oil painting and needlepoint.
Her husband, Fred D. Crosby, died in 1970.
She leaves six grandchildren, including Mary Ann Moeri of Derry, N.H., her primary caregiver; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Her daughter, Patricia McHugh, died in 2002.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Mrs. Cora F. Crosby, who died Saturday, Nov. 11, 2006, will be Saturday, Nov. 18, at 8:30 from DWYER FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9:30 at St. Mark's Church celebrated by the Rev. John Salatino, pastor.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetary. Calling hours will be Friday from 5 to 7 at the funeral home. She was also predeceased by two brothers, John and Ken Harder.
