Alice Ann Bourdeau

Alice Ann Bourdeau, 69, of Frederick, Md., formerly of Pittsfield and Germantown, Md., died Friday at Northampton Manor Health Care Center in Frederick.

Born in Pittsfield on July 19, 1937, daughter of J. Edward and Anna Ruest Lausier, she was a 1955 graduate of Pittsfield High School and a graduate of the former Berkshire Business College.

She moved to Maryland in 1965.

Mrs. Bordeau was employed by Aspen Systems in Germantown as a customer service representative.

She was a 28-year communicant of St. Paul's Church in Damascus, Md., and, more recently, a communicant of St. Katharine Drexel Church in Frederick.

She and her husband, Leo Joseph Bourdeau, were married May 25, 1957, at the former Notre Dame Church by the Rev. Albert T. Beaudry.

Besides her husband, she leaves three sons, Paul A. Bourdeau of White Plains, Md., David B. Bourdeau of New Market, Md., and John A. Bourdeau of Gainesville, Fla.; a brother, Richard Lausier of Pittsfield; two sisters, Rose Alessio of Pittsfield and Lorraine Daoust of Southern Pines, N.C.; and six grandchildren.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Mass of Christian Burial for Alice Ann Bordeau, who died Friday, Nov. 17, 2006, will be celebrated Tuesday at 11 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 112 East Second St., Frederick, Md., by the Rev. Keith Boisvert.

The family will receive friends Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 at STAUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. Burial will follow in St. John's Church Cemetery.

The family requests memorials to be made to St. Katharine Drexel Roman Catholic Church Building Fund, 8428 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702.

She also leaves three daughters-in-law, Tammie, Linda and Sonja; a sister-in-law, Angelina; two brothers-in-law, Ugo Alessio and Robert Daoust; and six grandchildren, Scott, Matthew, Andrew, Alexander, Evan and Lena.
