Mary R. Wick, 88, of 43 Lincoln St. died Sunday at home.
Born in Salem on March 10, 1918, daughter of Antonio and Sophie Cassella Masone, she was educated in local schools. Before moving to Lincoln Street, she lived on Brombach Street for 30 years.
Mrs. Wick was a homemaker. During the 1950s, she worked at the former First National Grocery Store and at the former Elmvale Coat Factory.
She was a former communicant of St. Mark's Church and enjoyed playing bingo, shopping and going to Foxwoods Resort Casino.
She and her husband, Hugh K. Wick, were married Jan. 17, 1940, in Pittsfield. He died Nov. 5, 1989.
She leaves two daughters, Mary Jo Pelletier of Pittsfield and Linda D. Hollmer of Houston; a son, Anthony G. Wick of Pittsfield; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A graveside service for Mary R. Wick, who died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2006, will be conducted tomorrow, Nov. 22, at 1 at St. Joseph's Church in Pittsfield. Those wishing to attend may meet inside the cemetery gate at 12:45. There will be no calling hours.
Mrs. Wick also leaves her brother-in-law, Fred Wick; her sister-in-law, Lola Wick; two sons-in-law, Ronald Pelletier and Gerald Hollmer; her daughter-in-law, Bonnie Wick; 10 grandchildren, David and Gerianne Pelletier, Joseph, Michelle and Michael Russo, Sandra MacGregor, Melissa Grandbois, Anthony H. Wick, Jessica Hamling and Richard E. Dixon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to the Friends of Renal Dialysis, both in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201, which is in charge of arrangements.
