Emily Krista Breault

Emily Krista Breault, 17, of 107 Bossidy Drive died Monday at Berkshire Medical Center as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident earlier in the day.
Born in Pittsfield on June 18, 1989, daughter of Norman L. and Catherine A. Dickhaus Breault, she was a graduate of Allendale Elementary School and Reid Middle School, and at the time of her death, was a senior at Taconic High School.
She was employed as a hostess at Asters Restaurant.
Miss Breault was a member of her school's varsity volleyball team, a member of the Leo Club, Ambassador for the Class of 2007, and was selected to represent the school as a student of the Academy of Information Technology.
Active in the community as well, she was a cheerleader at the Catholic Youth Center where she was also a Bible Camp mentor, and was a DARE Camp Mentor for the Pittsfield Boys and Girls Club. She also enjoyed attending Shakespeare & Company events.
Besides her mother of Pittsfield and her father of Lee, Miss Breault leaves her brother, Zachary Breault of Pittsfield; her half-sister, Haylie Breault of Lee; her stepmother, Lisamarie Breault of Lee; a stepsister, Deanna Breault of Lee; a stepbrother, Levi Garner of Lee; her maternal grandfather, Lawrence Dickhaus of Pittsfield; her maternal grandmother, Elaine J. Dickhaus, of Sebastian, Fla.; and her paternal grandmother, Lucille Breault of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Emily Krista Breault, who died Monday, Nov. 27, 2006, will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Charles Church, 89 Briggs Ave., Pittsfield, celebrated by the Rev. Peter A. Gregory, pastor.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be today from 4 to 8 at DERY FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Emily may be made to Taconic High School Academy of Information Technology in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield.
Miss Breault also leaves her aunts and uncles, Daniel Breault, Kelley Breault-Schantz, Diana Leibinger, David Dickhaus, Charles Dickhaus, Eric Dickhaus and Wesley Dickhaus; and 18 cousins, including Courtney, Erin and Kayla, who had a special place in Emily's heart.
