Adrienne Eve Cornellier, 96, formerly of Dartmouth Street, died in Nashua, N.H., on Saturday.
Born in Lac Megantic, Canada, Dec. 14, 1910, daughter of Adelard and Marie Lamontagne Charland, she attended schools in Canada.
A mender, she worked in wool mills in Torrington, North Adams, Pittsfield and Dalton for 49 years, retiring in 1974.
She was a former communicant of Notre Dame Church and belonged to St. Anne Auxiliary, Senior Citizens and St. John Baptist.
She married J. Philip Cornellier on Aug. 30, 1935. He died Jan. 30, 1983.
She leaves a son, Donald of Nashua, N.H.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Funeral service for Adrienne E. Cornellier, 96, who died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006, will be held Thursday, Dec. 28 at 10:15 a.m. from DERY FUNERAL HOME with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, celebrated by the Rev. James Joyce, pastor.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Heart Association, in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
Adrienne will be lovingly missed by her grandchildren Gregory and his wife, Lisa Cornellier, Michelle and her husband, Mark Myrdek, and Jeffrey and his wife, Tina Cornellier; her great-grandchildren, Blake and Tyler Cornellier, Jocelyn, Kylie and Myles Myrdek and Samantha Cornellier; and nieces and nephews.
