Charles John Sullivan, 66, of Canaan, N.Y., died Monday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Elizabeth, N.J., June 15, 1940, he was the son of the late Jeremiah and Edith Saich Sullivan.
He served in the Army during the Korean War.
He worked for Adirondack Trailways as a bus driver for 35 years, retiring in 2002.
He was a member of the Adirondack Wood Turners and the Northeast Woodworkers Association.
He loved square dancing and ballroom dancing.
He leaves his wife, Lynn Southwick Sullivan; two daughters, Cindy Sullivan of Queensbury, N.Y., and Katy Lawrence of Canaan; two sisters, Edith Bolton of the state of Florida and Claire Lisk of New Jersey; two grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his brother, Jeremiah Sullivan.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Funeral services for Charles John Sullivan, who died Monday, Jan. 8, 2007, will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Flat Brook Baptist Church, the Rev. Reginald Joseph presiding. Interment will be in Canaan Cemetery.
Calling hours are Friday, 5 to 7 p.m., at RAYMOND E. BOND FUNERAL HOME, Route 9, Valatie, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be made to Flat Brook Baptist Church, Route 22, Canaan, NY 12125 in Charles's memory.
