Ada M. Puntin

Ada M. Puntin, 90, of 55 Pembroke Ave., died Monday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on Feb. 9, 1916, daughter of Angelo and Rosa Tezza Menin, she graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1933.
She was employed by the former Glix-Brandt Company from 1933 to 1935 and then by the General Electric Co. from 1935 to 1938.
Mrs. Puntin was a communicant of All Souls' Church.
She enjoyed knitting, fishing, gardening and going to the casinos.
She married Attilio "Til" Puntin on Jan. 19, 1941. He died on July 22, 1986.
She leaves three sons, William L. Puntin of Pittsfield, and Donald A. Puntin and Timothy J. Puntin, both of Tyringham; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL SERVICES -- The funeral for Ada Menin Puntin, who died on Monday, Jan. 29, 2007, will take place Saturday at 8 a.m. from FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME, 5 Elm St., Pittsfield. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at All Souls' Church with the Rev. Geoffrey J. Deeker, C.S.S., pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the family plot in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Pittsfield.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to All Souls' Church in care of the funeral home. Mrs. Puntin also leaves three daughters-in-law, Lauria Puntin, Mary Ellen Puntin and Gail Puntin; eight grandchildren, Brian, Anthony, Christopher, Matthew, Michael, Brendon and Cara Puntin and Beth Puntin-Ortins; and 11 great-grandchildren, Alexandra, Rachael, Haley, Alyssa, Adam, Nicholas, Alex, Emma, Eric, Sophia and Ryan Puntin.
She was predeceased by three brothers, Mario G., Louis and Anthony J. Menin. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed by all who loved her.
