Dora E. Gruberg, 95, of 176 Columbus Ave., Berkshire Town, died yesterday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Jan. 11, 1912, she was the daughter of Joseph Gruberg and Sara Fink Gruberg.
She attended schools in Pittsfield and graduated from Pittsfield High School.
She was employed for many years as an office assistant at Pittsfield Supply Co., and was last employed as head usher at Tanglewood.
She was a member of Knesset Israel Synagogue and of Hadassah.
She leaves two sisters, Ann Jaffe of Pittsfield, and Frances Seltzer of Los Angeles, and a brother, Maurice Gruberg of Seattle.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Funeral services for Dora E. Gruberg, who died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007, will take place Thursday at 1 p.m. at Knesset Israel Synagogue with Rabbi David Greenspoon, spiritual leader, officiating.
Burial will follow in Knesset Israel Cemetery. Donations are suggested for Knesset Israel. She was predeceased by two sisters, Rose Gruberg and Jeanne Goldstein. She also leaves several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. The FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME at 5 Elm St., Pittsfield, MA 01201 is in charge of arrangements.
