Lillian M. Elworthy, 84, of 50 Valentine Road, died yesterday at Providence Care Center in Lenox.
Born in Pittsfield on July 26, 1922, daughter of Frank J. and Lillian Murphy Hall, she was a 1940 graduate of St. Joseph's High School.
A homemaker, Mrs. Elworthy was a communicant of St. Mark's Church and a lifelong resident of Pittsfield.
She enjoyed her home and gardens.
She married her husband, William J. Elworthy, on April 19, 1947, in Pittsfield.
Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Leslie M. Mickle of Pittsfield; two sons, Richard P. Elworthy of Lenox and Mark E. Elworthy of Pittsfield; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Lillian M. Elworthy died in Lenox on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007. She was the beloved grandmother to David and Jennifer Elworthy and Matthew, Patrick, Andrew and Megan Mickle. At Lillian's request, there will be no calling hours or funeral.
Interment will be at a later date in St. Michael the Archangel Mausoleum. Donations may be made to Hospice Care in the Berkshires, care of DWYER FUNERAL HOME, which is in charge of arrangements, in her memory.
She was predeceased by a brother, Brudge Hall, and two sisters, Barbara Kasuba and Margaret Peterson.
