Carol Ann Lewis, 69, of 176 Columbus Ave., Berkshiretown Apartments, died Thursday at home.
Born in Pittsfield on May 11, 1937, daughter of Edmund and Dorothy Durett Teot, she was a 1956 graduate of St. Joseph's High School.
Mrs. Lewis was a home health care aide for Molari Temporary Services for nine years. She also did private-duty home care for the elderly.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church and enjoyed crocheting, cooking, dancing, doing jigsaw puzzles and playing bingo.
She and her husband, Gordon E. Lewis, were married July 11, 1960. He died Jan. 24, 1999.
She leaves two daughters, Pamela A. Boulanger of Pittsfield and Dawn M. Botelho of Daytona, Fla.; a son, Mark A. Lewis of Pittsfield; a sister, Shirley Viani of Pittsfield; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Carol Ann Lewis, who died Thursday, April 5, 2007, will be Thursday, April 12, at 8:15 a.m. from DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church celebrated by Monsignor Michael Shershanovich, pastor.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
Mrs. Lewis is lovingly survived by her grandchildren, Tyler R., Kyle W., Lauren N. and Ashley V. Lewis, and Joshua Botelho; two great-grandchildren, Rachel L. and Adrianna T. Lewis; her son-in-law, William P. Boulanger; her daughter-in-law, Lisa D. Lewis; and her beloved aunt, Sister Mary Dorothy Teot, SSJ, of Pittsfield.
