Michael John Coppolino, 49, of 141 Dewey Ave., died Sunday at home.
Born in Pittsfield on May 21, 1957, son of Charles and Shirley Chaperon Coppolino, he was a graduate of Taconic High School.
An auto body technician for 29 years, Mr. Coppolino owned and operated Kustom Auto Body on Dewey Avenue. Previously, he had worked for the former Lindsey Chevrolet and Dan's Autobody.
He was a communicant of St. Mark Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycle riding and stock cars.
Besides his mother and father, of Pittsfield, he leaves a son, Michael A. Coppolino of Princeton; Charles and David Coppolino, both of Pittsfield. He also leaves his former wife, Kimberly Parker Coppolino Ahern.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Liturgy of Christian Burial for Michael J. Coppolino, who died Sunday, April 15, 2007, will be Thursday, April 19, at 10 a.m. at St. Mark Church, celebrated by the Rev. John C. Salatino, pastor.
Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be tomorrow from 4 to 7 p.m. at DERY FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. Coppolino may be made to St. Mark Church in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield.
