Irene Eleanor Twing, 45, of 97 Francis Ave., died Monday morning as a result of injuries sustained after being hit by a train.
Born in Pittsfield on Oct. 29, 1961, daughter of Walter E. and Mabel Rice Fuller, she attended schools in Dalton.
Primarily a homemaker, Mrs. Twing had at one time worked as a waitress at the Salt and Pepper Restaurant and worked in catering at the Sheffield Wine and Cheese Shop.
Mrs. Twing leaves three sons, Gilbert Twing Jr. of Sheffield, Jonathan Twing of Peru and Terrance Tanner of Great Barrington; three daughters, Heather A. Twing Fuller of Lebanon, N.Y., Zena Marie Boylston of Lenox and Jasmine Tanner of Great Barrington; four brothers, David Fuller of Middlefield, William Fuller of Pittsfield, Gary Fuller of Dalton and Gordon Fuller of New York state; and two grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Irene Eleanor Twing, who died Monday, April 30, 2007, will be private and at the convenience of the family.
There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in care of Mrs. Twing may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield. Mrs. Twing also leaves her two grandchildren, Blaise and Austin Twing.
