Elaine Frances Bigelow, 76, of 911 Tyler St., died yesterday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on Oct. 11, 1930, daughter of Roy W. and Dorothy Thomas Kickery, she attended local schools.
Primarily a homemaker, Mrs. Bigelow was employed at one time by General Electric Co.
She enjoyed fishing.
She and her husband, John R. Bigelow Sr., were married in 1991.
Besides her husband, she leaves six stepsons, John R. Bigelow Jr. of Peru, Keith Bigelow of the town of Washington, Blaine Bigelow of Connecticut, Robert Litourneau of Great Barrington, George Litourneau of Arizona and Frederick Litourneau of Dalton; two stepdaughters, Barbara Oles of Sheffield and Denise Bigelow of Dalton; three brothers, Gerald and Richard Kickery, both of Pittsfield, and James Kickery of Wilmington, Vt.; and a sister, Dorothy "Sis" Kickery of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Elaine Frances Kickery Bigelow, who died Friday, May 4, 2007, will be held at the convenience of the family.
There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Bigelow may be made to the Berkshire County Jimmy Fund in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
