Lana M. Recchia, 66, of 265 Second St., died Tuesday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on July 19, 1940, daughter of Joseph J. and Rose Canterella Rosso, she attended local schools.
A homemaker, Mrs. Recchia worked at one time at Sampco Inc. and Berkshire Unlimited.
She was a 25-year member of the Salvation Army, Ad-Lib, a former member of Berkshire County ARC., and enjoyed candlepin bowling.
She leaves her husband, Richard Recchia, whom she married Sept. 13, 1985, at the Salvation Army.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Lana M. Rosso Recchia, who died May 8, 2007, will be conducted tomorrow at 11 a.m. at DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME by Captain Scott Peabody, Commander of the Pittsfield Salvation Army.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home tomorrow from 10 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations in her memory may be made to the friends of Renal Dialysis in care of the funeral home, 40 Maplewood Ave., Pittsfield.
She leaves several nieces and nephews.
