Lillian M. Wagner, 85, formerly of Benedict Road, died Saturday at Craneville Place in Dalton.
Born in Pittsfield on Nov. 22, 1921, daughter of Erik and Sarah Kernam Meyer, she was a St. Joseph's Central High School graduate.
She was a primarily a homemaker, and also worked at General Electric Co. for 20 years, retiring in 1986.
Mrs. Wagner loved gardening, animals and her home.
She and her husband, Richard R. Wagner Sr., were married July 4, 1941. He died in June 1994.
She leaves two daughters, Carole A. Renderman of Dalton and Kathleen S. Sciola of Tarpon Springs, Fla.; a son, Richard Wagner Jr. of Pittsfield; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Lillian Wagner, who died Saturday, May 26, 2007, will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Berkshire Humane Society or Briteside in care of WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201, which is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Wagner was a wonderful mother, wife and grandmother and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
