Virginia McAuley, 87, of 8 Whipple St., formerly of Cheshire, died Monday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Adams on Feb. 26, 1920, daughter of George and Caroline Urban McAuley, she attended schools there.
Miss McAuley was employed by the former Berkshire Screw Machine Co. in Adams for many years.
She was a communicant of St. Mary' Church in Cheshire and enjoyed gardening and traveling.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A graveside service and burial for Virginia McAuley, who died Monday, May 21, 2007, will be held at a later date in Bellevue Cemetery in Adams. There will be no calling hours. TROTTIER PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME in Adams is in charge of arrangements.
Miss McAuley leaves a godchild, Susan Sayers of Pittsfield; and five close friends, Robert Poulton and his wife, Barbara, of Hinsdale, Rose Norton of Pittsfield and John Zarvis and his wife, Jean, of Cheshire.
