Carol Ann Kerichenko, 60, of 298 Merrill Road died Wednesday at home after a long illness.
Born in Pittsfield on Dec. 16, 1946, daughter of the late William M. Bragg Sr. and Geraldine Gero Bragg Packard, she attended schools in Dalton.
Mrs. Kerichenko was employed by Crane & Co. in Dalton as an imprinter in the stationery mill. She also worked as a clerk at Musante's Variety in Dalton, at the former Maxi-Drug and at Tyler Street Pizza House.
She enjoyed motorcycle riding, camping and flower gardening. In her younger years, she played softball.
She leaves four daughters, Judith L. Buck of Hinsdale; Tracie A. Marby of Dalton, Kerri A. Kerichenko of Las Vegas and Colleen M. Kerichenko of New Lebanon, N.Y.; a brother, William M. Bragg Jr. of Hinsdale; two sisters, Jean Sacchetti of Ocala, Fla., and Linda Vryinhock of Monterey, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; and her longtime companion, with whom she resided, Roland J. Beany Sr.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A graveside service for Carol Ann Kerichenko, who died Wednesday, May 30, 2007, will be held Tuesday, June 5, at 11 a.m. at Ashuelot Cemetery in Dalton. Calling hours at DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME in Dalton will be today from 3 to 5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home. Carol is lovingly survived by Tracy M. Beany, Roger S. Buck, Darren M. Laundry, Matthew J. Poli, Robert Vryinhock, Douglas Moulton, Sally W. Bragg, and her companion's children, Roland J. Beany Jr. and Lisa Poli; and by many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her stepfather, Clifford R. Packard. Carol's 17 grandchildren were the joy of her life.
