Evelyn Anette Morawski, 88, formerly of 49 John St. and of Side by Side assisted-living facility, died Thursday at Mount Greylock Extended Care Facility, where she had resided since April.
Born in Pittsfield on Nov. 6, 1918, daughter of Harold H. and Mildred Nash Bolton, she graduated from schools in Stockbridge.
Mrs. Morawski was employed as a housekeeper for several area doctors and lawyers, and later worked in the same capacity at the Wagon Wheel Motel in Lenox.
She was a communicant of St. Mark's Church.
She leaves a son, Edward Morawski of Pittsfield; three daughters, Diane Morawski of New Bedford, Joan Mitchell of Seattle and Elaine Quellet of Westminster; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A graveside service for Evelyn A. Bolton Morawski, who died Thursday, June 7, 2007, will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. at Stockbridge Cemetery on Main Street, Stockbridge, by the Rev. Willard H. Durant.
There will be no calling hours. DERY FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements. She also leaves her longtime family friend, Magdalene Adams of Pittsfield. Mrs. Morawski had a special place in her heart for animals, especially cats.
