Jared M. Benham, 21, of 11 Constitution Ave., died Wednesday morning as the result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Mr. Benham was born in Pittsfield, March 18, 1986, the son of Kerry Williamson and Karen Benham, he attended Pittsfield schools and had also attended Berkshire Community College.
He was employed by Bass Water Grille, where he had worked for four months as a cook.
He had been a member of the Catholic Youth Center and the Boys' and Girls' Club of Pittsfield, where he enjoyed youth sports.
Mr. Benham is survived by his father of Northampton and his mother of Pittsfield; a brother, Wesley Williamson of Pittsfield; a sister, Gabrielle Williamson of Pittsfield; maternal grandmother, Ann Benham of Pittsfield; and his paternal grandmother, Louise Williamson of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Jared M. Benham, who died July 11, 2007, will be held on Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church, celebrated by the Rev. Christopher J. Waitekus. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the DERY FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. Benham may be made to the Pittsfield Permanent Fireman's Association in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St.
Mr. Benham will be missed by many uncles, aunts, cousins, and his three nieces, Madison Williamson; Leighana Williamson; Lily Williamson, and his nephew, Cameron Williamson.
