Rose M. Stracuzzi, 85, of 379 East St., Providence Court Apts., died Monday at Springside of Pittsfield.
Born in Pittsfield, Jan. 17, 1922, a daughter of Giuseppe and Giovanna Gentile Frangipane, she attended Pittsfield schools and graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1940.
In the 1970s, she was employed by McDonalds on West Housatonic Street, but she spent most of her life as a homemaker.
She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.
She enjoyed bingo and card games.
On July, 27, 1940, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, she married Vincent F. "Carmello" Stracuzzi, who died May 31, 2001.
Survivors include three daughters, Carmella A. Underhill, Angela M. Underhill, and RoseMarie Underhill, all of Pittsfield. She was predeceased by two sons, Rosario Stracuzzi and Michael J. Stracuzzi and two daughters, Beverly Stracuzzi and Jennie Stracuzzi.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral of Rose M. Stracuzzi will be conducted on Saturday at 9 a.m. at the FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME with the Rev. Steve Smith, pastor of Pilgrim Holiness Church officiating.
Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Joseph's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Rose was predeceased by two brothers, Frank F. Frangipane and Samuel S. Frangipane.
