Louise M. Wilder

Louise M. Wilder, 96, formerly of 347 Dalton Ave., died yesterday at Mount Greylock Extended Care Facility, where she had resided since January.
Born in Westminster on July 27, 1911, daughter of Frank R. Murdock Jr. and Mary Johnstone Murdock, she was a 1929 graduate of Fitchburg High School.
Mrs. Wilder was employed by Berkshire Community Action Council as a statistician for many years.
She was a member, past clerk and member of the choir at South Congregational Church, a volunteer at the gift shop at Berkshire Medical Center, a member and past president of May Matton Class, and a member of the Women's Club of the Berkshires.
Her husband, Frank H. Wilder, whom she married April 30, 1932, died Oct. 6, 1976.
She leaves a daughter, Judith W. Grady of Pittsfield; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Her son, John A. Wilder, predeceased her.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service for Mrs. Louise M. Wilder, who died Friday, Sept.7, 2007, will be held at a date to be announced. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
She also leaves her grandchildren, Robert W. Grady and Deborah L. DuBuc; a nephew, Peter Fitzgerald; her daughter-in-law, Barbara Wilder of East Lime, Conn.; and her niece, Jean Murdock of Clearwater, Fla. Donations in her memory may be made to the South Congregational Church Flower Fund or to the Women's Club of the Berkshires, in care of WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
