Bruce Earle Clark

Bruce Earle Clark, 58, of 51 Watson St. died Wednesday at Berkshire Medical Center.

Born in Pittsfield on Oct. 3, 1948, son of Helen Meskevich Clark and the late Earl R. Clark, he was a 1966 graduate of Lenox High School, where he was a member of the Junior Optimist Club, and a 1968 graduate of Northampton Business College.

An Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he served from Jan. 21, 1969, to April 20, 1971, and was stationed in Korea. After being discharged with the rank of specialist fifth class, he joined the Army Reserve.

Mr. Clark was hired in 1968 by the ordnance systems division of General Electric Co., where he worked in government printing and publishing. He retired from the former Martin Marietta Corp. in 1994 because of ill health.

He and his wife, the former Ae Ran Cho, were married Dec. 16, 1970, in Seoul, South Korea.

Besides his wife and mother, of Lenox, he leaves a son, Cedric J. Clark of Breckenridge, Colo., and three sisters, Judith Clark Gill of Winston Salem, N.C., Geraldine Clark Moriarty of Scarsdale, N.Y., and Andrea Jeanne Clark of Pawcatuck, Conn.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- A graveside service for Bruce E. Clark, who died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007, will be conducted Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Pittsfield Cemetery by the Rev. William D. Furey, pastor of Berkshire Union Chapel.

Those attending are invited to meet inside the cemetery gates at 1:20 p.m. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Berkshire Medical Center Renal Dialysis Unit, in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
