Frances R. Latini, 73, of Esther Terrace died Friday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on April 10, 1934, daughter of Bennie and Amelia Lattanzzi Latini, she was educated in Pittsfield schools.
Miss Latini was employed as a clerk at Brooks Pharmacy for 17 years, retiring in 1996. Before that, she worked at the former Maxi Drug store.
She was a communicant of Mount Carmel Church and enjoyed gardening, crocheting and ceramics.
She leaves a son, Michael S. Latini of Pittsfield; two brothers, John Latini of Pittsfield and Benjamin Latini of Cherry Hill, N.J.; a sister, Susan K. Bilis of Pittsfield; and a grandson.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Frances R. Latini, who died Friday, Oct. 12, 2007, will be celebrated Saturday at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church by the Rev. Geoffrey J. Deeker, CSS, pastor.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Miss Latini may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield.
Miss Latini also leaves her grandson, Benjamin M. Latini; and eight nieces and nephews.
