Carolyn Marie Hanson, 51, of Boise, Idaho, formerly of Pittsfield, died July 24 at the Life Care Center of Boise.
Born in Bismarck, N.D., on April 10, 1950, daughter of Earlyne Graves Long and the late William Long, she graduated from Central Valley High School in Spokane, Wash., in 1968. She moved to Pittsfield in 1972. She left Pittsfield to move to Arizona 10 years ago, and moved to Boise four years ago.
Mrs. Hanson was employed as a cashier for Price Chopper supermarkets in North Adams and in Pittsfield for many years.
Besides her mother, of Spokane, she leaves two daughters, Sharisse Lasher of Corydon, Ind., and Rachelle Hanson of Williamstown.
