William Henry Londergan

William Henry Londergan, 79, of 104 Allengate Ave. died Saturday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on Oct. 25, 1928, son of James and Mary Johnson Londergan, he attended St. Joseph's High School.
Mr. Edmonds was employed as a material handler at E.D. Jones Beloit Division from 1952 to 1976, retiring because of poor health.
He was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church and enjoyed frequenting casinos.
He and his wife, the former Maureen A. Brophy, were married Sept. 29, 1951, at St. Agnes' Church in Dalton.
Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Michael P. Londergan of Pittsfield and Paul E. Londergan of Dalton; two daughters, Mary L. Ross and Ann L. Hottel, both of Wilton, N.H.; a sister, Frances Gilbert of Dalton; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for William H. Londergan, who died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007, will be conducted at 8:15 a.m. Thursday at DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church celebrated by Monsignor Michael Shershanovich, pastor.
Interment will be private and held at a later date at St. Michael the Archangel mausoleum in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to St. Joseph's Church Benevolent Fund in care of the funeral home. Mr. Londergan is also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by four brothers, George Pleau and Robert, James and Eugene Londergan; and by three sisters, Helen Rollins, Mary Ellsworth and Catherine Latakas.
