Charlotte M. Flynn, 93, formerly of 1029 West St., died Dec. 11 at Hillcrest Commons, where she had resided for the past five years.
Born in Pittsfield on June 23, 1914, daughter of John and Charlotte Collins Flynn, she was a lifelong resident of Pittsfield and a 1931 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Miss Flynn was employed by General Electric Co., retiring in 1976 with 26 years of service.
She was a communicant of St. Mark's Church and a member of its Rosary Sodality, and was a member of the GE Quarter Century and Pensioners' clubs.
Miss Flynn leaves a sister, Mary Colby of Pittsfield, and a brother, Martin Flynn of Slidell, La.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Charlotte Flynn, who died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2007, will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at DWYER FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mark's Church, celebrated by the Rev. John Salatino, pastor.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 8 to 9 a.m. at the funeral home. Ms. Flynn also leaves many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Alzheimer's Association in care of the funeral home.
