Eleanor Ann Weldon, 89, of 1801 Conestoga Drive SE, Albuquerque, N.M., a native of Pittsfield, died Saturday at home.
Born in Pittsfield, June 4, 1918, daughter of George L. and Catherine Doyle Brown, she attended local schools.
Mrs. Weldon was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Shrine of St. Bernadette in New Mexico and a communicant of St. Charles' Church while in Pittsfield.
Her husband, Joseph J. Weldon, is deceased.
She leaves a daughter, Ann M. Terpak of Albuquerque; two sons, John "Jack" Weldon of Pittsfield and Peter C. Weldon of Satellite Beach, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Eleanor Weldon, who died Dec. 22, 2007, with her daughter and son-in-law by her side, will be Saturday at 8:15 a.m. from DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. at St. Charles' Church celebrated by the Rev. Peter A. Gregory, pastor.
Burial will be in Garfield Cemetery in Stephentown, N.Y. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations in her memory may be made to Heritage Home Healthcare and Hospice, 1700 Louisiana Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
