Pittsfield - Joyce Marie Galloway, 70, of 304 West Housatonic St., died Wednesday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on Oct. 17, 1937, she was the daughter of Harold C. and Minnie Clapper Galloway.
Miss Galloway was a member of the Berkshire County Association for Retarded Citizens and attended BAROCO.
She enjoyed looking at magazines and having manicures.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A graveside service for Joyce Marie Galloway, who died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008, will be conducted at 11 a.m. today at Pittsfield Cemetery, by the Rev. William D. Furey, pastor of Berkshire Union Chapel.
There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Miss Galloway may be made to HospiceCare of the Berkshires in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield.
Miss Galloway leaves several cousins; her beloved friends at BCARC, including her good friend Pam Goodson; and Kenneth and Deborah Fecteau, with whom she resided.
