PITTSFIELD - Christine M. Lennon, 60, of 1450 North St., died Monday, Jan. 21, 2008, following a brief illness.
Born in Pittsfield on June 3, 1947, daughter of Francis and Rosemary Ferguson Bean, she was a 1965 graduate of Wahconah Regional High School, and a 1996 graduate of Three Rivers Community College in Norwich, Conn., earning an associate's degree in business.
Mrs. Lennon was employed for many years by Pediatric Associates in Mansfield, Conn., as a medical receptionist. She was employed by Berkshire Life Insurance Co. in the claims department for five years before leaving for medical reasons.
She was a communicant of St. Agnes' Church in Dalton. She enjoyed cooking, baking and walking.
She leaves a son, Joseph Lennon of Lake Forest, Calif.; a sister, Kathleen Polidoro of Adams; and a brother, Timothy Bean of Cornelius, N.C.
FUNERAL NOTICE - A memorial service for Christine Lennon, who died Monday, Jan. 21, 2008, will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at BARTLETT WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, with the Deacon Pasqual Baldasaro of St. Agnes' Church officiating.
Burial will be in the spring in Ashuelot Cemetery in Dalton. Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the day of the service. Donations in her memory may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home, 525 Main St., Dalton, MA 01226.
