Arline G. Segnalla, 79, of Seneca, S.C., formerly of Pittsfield, died Aug. 18 at the Inn at Seneca, an assisted-living facility in Seneca.
Born in New Haven, Conn., on Nov. 8, 1921, daughter of Bruno and Edith Alderman Graebner, she attended the former Larson Junior College in Hamden, Conn., now known as Quinnipiac College.
Mrs. Segnalla was a resident of Pittsfield from 1955 until 1988, when she and her husband, Dr. Ernest Segnalla Jr., retired to Seneca.A homemaker, she served in the Medical Auxiliary of the Berkshires in a variety of roles over the years, including that of president.
Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Jean-Marie Hershey of Garden City, N.Y., and Wendy Zaccai of Newton, and five grandchildren.
