Welcome to Flavours. I am Sabrina Tan, born and raised in Malaysia, the owner and only chef at Flavours. Flavours is a small, family owned restaurant that caters to open minded food-loving patrons.  We like our patrons to come in, relax and take their time to enjoy the taste of freshly cooked-to-order authentic Malaysian and Asian cooking.  I like to eat health. Therefore, I use very little oil, no MSG and no preservatives.  The vegetables are always fresh, and cooked al dente.  This is why we can cater to Gluten Free and Vegan customers.  My preferred ingredients are tender Angus beef and Scottish organic "responsibly raised" Salmon.

I take pride in my cooking and am very serious about it.  Just like all Malaysians, we are very serious about flavors.  Spicy, salty, sour, sweet and most of all, we like the fragrance of all the spices sauteed together. The a mount of chili, turmeric, ginger, garlic, shallots and lemongrass are guides, not absolute measures.  All these ingredients are freshly ground and stored separately.  When preparing your order, I only use the amount of seasoning necessary, according to your mild to spicy. All Dim Sum appetizers are made in house, as needed. .

Conveniently located on downtown in Pittsfield Flavours is an easy ride from the northern and southern Berkshire areas and just minutes from the Colonial Theatre and Barrington Stage Company.

As all our entrees are freshly cooked to order, please give yourself enough time for me to prepare your meal and for you to relax and enjoy my Asian cooking.  My reward for the night is to see your enjoying the unique taste of Flavours of Malaysian through the window of my kitchen.  Peek in and say hi if you like.
