Adams-Cheshire Little Leaguers Go to 2-0 at District Tourney

DALTON, Mass. – Brayden Durant hit a two-run home run Thursday to help the Adams-Cheshire Little League 12-year-old All-Stars to a 6-5 win over the Pittsfield Little League National Division in the Don Gleason District 1 Tournament at Chamberlain Park.   Mikey Durant drove in a pair of runs for Adams-Cheshire, which improved to 2-0 in round robin play in the five-team tournament.   Julius Valentine earned the win on the mound with 4 and a third innings pitched. PITTSFIELD, Mass. — The City of Pittsfield's Department of Community Development has announced the return of the Parks Playground Program at three city parks this summer.    The Summer Playground Program offers a variety of recreation activities to Pittsfield children ages 6 to 13 at no cost.
