BCC to Honor 95 Students at Convocation Reception| 10:55AM / Friday, October 09, 2009 | |
PITTSFIELD, Mass. - Berkshire Community College will recognize the academic achievement of 95 students during an Honors Convocation reception Thursday afternoon, Oct. 22, at 12:15 in the Robert Boland Theatre of college’s Koussevitzky Arts Center.
Each honored student ranks in the top five percent of the college with a grade point average or 3.75 or better in courses totaling at least 12 credits. Comments and congratulations will be offered by Dr. Paul Raverta, BCC president, and Dr. Frances Feinerman, the college’s dean of academic affairs. Charles Weinstein, professor of environmental and life sciences, will be the keynote speaker with greetings from Susan Lombard, Chair, of BCC Board of Trustees.
