Four of the county's Little League baseball teams will send all-star teams into county tournament play starting Monday evening in Pittsfield.
The 10/12-year-olds get things started with a pair of games.
The Pittsfield Americans will host Great Barrington at Deming Park, and the Pittsfield Nationals will play Dalton-Hinsdale at Clapp Park to begin round-robin play.
The Americans and Nationals will meet on Wednesday at Clapp, while Great Barrington will go to Dalton to face Dalton-Hinsdale on Chamberlain Field.
The round-robin concludes on Friday when the Americans play Dalton-Hinsdale at Deming and the Nationals play Great Barrington at Clapp.
The four teams then will be seeded for a double-elimination tournament that starts with a double-header on Sunday at noon and 3 and will conclude on Thursday, Aug. 27, with an "if necessary" game on Saturday.
The 9/11-year-old all-stars get started with their round robin on Tuesday.
The Americans play Great Barrington at Deming, and the Nationals play Dalton-Hinsdale at Clapp. On Thursday, the Americans and Nationals will meet at Clapp while Dalton-Hinsdale hosts Great Barrington. The round-robin wraps up on Saturday with the Americans against Dalton-Hinsdale at Deming and Great Barrington against the Nationals at Clapp.
The younger all-stars will play a single-elimination tournament next week. The semi-finals will be on Monday with the final scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 26.
All weekday games will be played at 5:30 p.m. Weekend games will be at noon and 3.
