PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Artists from the Berkshires and beyond are contributing 10x10 inch original works of art to be given away for $25 each during the virtual 10x10 RAParty (Real Art Party) on Thursday, Feb. 18.

The art show and party will benefit Berkshire County students through BAA Fellowship scholarships, field trips to Berkshire educational art departments, free admission for students to the Berkshire Museum, art supplies for students, teachers, and more.

"It's always a fun community event that brings out the best of our local artists as well as some friendly competition from the crowd," said BAA President Mary Beth Eldridge.

A $25 ARTtix guarantees the buyer a work of art to take home. ARTtix may be purchased on the Berkshire Museum website link here: http://bit.ly/10x10RAPAuction through the night of the 10x10 RAParty.

The virtual show opens at 6 pm, and the drawing begins at 7 pm. Tickets will be selected in random order, and the bearer will be able to choose any work of art that is still in the virtual gallery. Admission to the event is free.

"It's one of the top five things I look forward to participating in, and I'm sad I was a late adopter… I must have missed so many good ones, so don't miss out,"  art contributor Tim Kushi said.
