PITTSFIELD Mass. — The General Dynamics Mission Systems Pittsfield site is launching a Virtual High School Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math (STEM) Competition taking place Thursday, May 13 from 5:00pm-7:00pm. 

 

All high school age students in the Berkshires and surrounding areas are invited and encouraged to participate. This is an excellent opportunity to introduce students to basic concepts of engineering, spark serious interest in STEM fields, and

get acquainted with a major STEM employer in the region.

 

Participating students will use Tinkercad, a free online engineering tool, to work through and solve hardware and software related puzzles. Students can solve the puzzles anytime between now and May 13. On May 13, students will provide a 10-minute presentation of their solutions to the judges.
