Adams Aces Earn 5-4 Win to Stay Undefeated in BABL

Scott Nimons pitched the Adams Aces to a 5-4 win over the Moneymakers on Sunday as the Aces stayed unbeaten and in first place atop the 35-and-over division of the Berkshire Adult Baseball League.
 
Jeremy Broadwell earned a save as Adams improved to 3-0 this season.
 
Bryan Betters, Corey Swistak and Peter Greenbush each recorded a double in the game, which saw Jarrett Bayliss tagged with a loss for the Moneymakers.
 
Adams will put its perfect record on the line against the Gremlins (1-1) on Sunday, May 23, at 10 a.m. on the American Legion field in Dalton.
 
Pirates 9, Gremlins 8
Ryan Sullivan homered, and Jason Ryan, Josh Froebel, Nathan Keay and Dave Clark each doubled. Clark also earned the win on the hill; Corey Delisle took the loss.
 
Tunnel City 11, Spiders 1
Ryan Shea was the winning pitcher for Tunnel City. Chris LaFrance and Aaron Ricci each hit a double. Pat Priester got the decision for the Spiders.
 
20-and-Over Division
Housatonic 7, GB Millers 5
Kevin Robinson hit a home run, and Alex Salazar, Oliver Cookson and Tyler Wade each doubled. Wade was the winning pitcher; Nick Arre took the loss.
 
BBA 3, Berkshire Devils 2
Kevin Donati hit a triple to lead Berkshire Baseball Academy. Hunter Potash outdueled the Devil's Alex Carusotto to earn the win.
