PITTSFIELD, Mass. — The city of Pittsfield will hold a free track and field program for children ages 6 to 14 on Saturday, July 31.

 

The Pittsfield Track and Field Games will be held at the Taconic High School track on Valentine Road with registration starting at 9 a.m. and events starting at 9:30.

 

The city has teamed with the Berkshire Lightning, Berkshire Thunder and Berkshire Running Club for a program that teaches children the basics of track and field, including warm-ups and skills.

 

Participants are asked to enter the track off of Lakeway Drive.
