Morrison Pitches Berkshire Thunder to Another BABL Win

Seamus Morrison set a Berkshire Adult Baseball League record with his eighth win on the mound as the Berkshire Thunder topped Tunnel City Freight, 11-1, to improve to 10-2 this summer.
 
Morrison, Jake Barbarotta and Jesus Lay held Tunnel City to just one hit in the 35-year-old division win.
 
Kevin Robison went 2-for-2 with three RBIs, and Matt Marquis drove in three runs to lead the Thunder's offense.
 
Dalton Moneymakers 7, Greenridge Gremlins 6
Dalton took a 6-0 lead after four innings before the Gremlins rallied to cut the margin to two runs.
 
Kyle Heilbourne went 3-for-3 with a pair of RBIs, including an RBI double in the bottom of the sixth to push Dalton's lead to 7-4.
 
Graham Moriarty went 3-for-4, and Jared Williams and Ed Potash each went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs for the Gremlins.
 
20-Year-Old Division
Great Barrington Millers 7, BBA 1
Nick Arre threw four shutout innings, allowing just one hit, to lead first-place Great Barrington past Berkshire Baseball Academy.
 
Spencer Cookson and Tom Ingersoll each drove in a pair of runs in a decisive five-run fifth inning for the Millers, who got a save on the mound from Chip Paul.
 
Dustin Vale Cruz singled, stole second and scored on a groundout for BBA's run.
 
Housatonic Monsters 15, Berkshire Devils 0
Jared Blondin allowed one hit in a complete-game win for Housatonic.
 
The Monsters' offense was led by Rich Casey, who went 3-for-5 with a pair of RBIs, and Nick Pow, who had two hits and four runs batted in. Raul Cortes and Ben Snow each had a pair of hits.
 
Mitche Decelles had the lone hit for the Devils.
