PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Berkshire Community College (BCC) begins its spring semester Monday, Jan. 24. 

 

A variety of learning options are offered, including in-person, online and hybrid. Register any time online, or attend a free registration day on Saturday, Jan. 22 from 8 am to 12 pm. Prospective students can walk in without an appointment, apply and be instantly accepted to the College.

 

"We feel great about the number of students who were successful this fall and are continuing with us this spring, as well as the many new students beginning courses with us," said Adam Klepetar, Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management. Klepetar noted that student support is also available in person or online, including counseling, advising and tutoring.

Masks are required in all indoor spaces at BCC, regardless of vaccination status. In addition, all students taking in-person classes must be fully vaccinated as of Jan. 3, 2022. All faculty and staff are also required to be fully vaccinated.

 

Each year roughly 2,000 students enroll in day or evening credit courses at the main campus, off-campus sites, and/or online. The College offers more than 50 programs of study, including associate of art or science degrees, certificates and noncredit workshops. 

 

Academic departments include allied health, biology, business, criminal justice, computer information systems, education, engineering and engineering technology, environmental science, fine and performing arts, fire science, health information and medical coding, health science, human services, hospitality and tourism management, liberal arts and nursing, as well as an adult learning program.
