PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Pittsfield High School Proteus Theatre will perform the musical "Pippin."

 

The musical will take place on Friday and Saturdays, April 29, 30, May 6, and May 7, at 7:30 p.m.

 

There will be Sunday performances on May 1 and 8 at 2:30 p.m.

 

Pippin is a 1972 musical. Music and lyrics were written by Stephen Schwartz and the book by Roger O. Hirson.

 

The musical tells the story of a young prince, Pippin, and his adventures in finding his life purpose.   

 

All performances will take place in the Pittsfield High School Auditorium at 300 East St. Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for students. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.
