DALTON, Mass. -- Both Pittsfield 10-and-under Little League All-Star teams earned wins on Sunday at the Don Gleason District 1 Championships.

 

The Pittsfield American League All-Stars improved to 2-0 in the four-team round-robin tournament with a 12-4 win over Dalton-Hinsdale on Sunday.

 

Landon Murphy got the win on the mound and helped his cause with a single.

 

Brennan Lyon and Will Nichols each had two hits for the Americans.

 

For Dalton-Hinsdale (0-1), Cam Sievers had a pair of hits, and Leah Melle and Cam Wilds had a hit apiece.

 

The Pittsfield National League All-Stars downed Great Barrington, 11-4.

 

Seth Laprade picked up the win on the bump.

 

Spencer Kotski had a big day at the plate with a triple and a double, and Gavin Fol doubled for the Nats (1-1).

 

John Naventi had a double and a single, and Thomas Kreis doubled for GB. (0-1).

 

On Tuesday at 5:30, the Pittsfield Americans face Great Barrington. Host Dalton-Hinsdale plays the Nats on Wednesday at 5:30.
