Juvenile Injured in Pittsfield Shooting

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — A boy was shot early Tuesday morning and taken to Berkshire Medical Center with wounds that were no considered life-threatening, according to police. 
 
Police report that officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation about 12:25 a.m. on Tuesday in the area of Pleasant Street. The activation indicated multiple rounds were fired. 
 
Responding officers arrived on scene and located the victim. A home had also been struck by gunfire and officers located additional ballistic evidence on scene.
 
The victim's name is being withheld because he is a juvenile. Police say he is a resident of Pittsfield.
