PITTSFIELD, Mass. — According to the District Attorney's Office, on Jan. 8 a search warrant was executed in Pittsfield by the Berkshire County Law Enforcement Task Force, and Following the search, five individuals were arrested for items found during the search.
The following was recovered:
two loaded firearms: one with a defaced serial number and one with a large capacity feeding device;
quantities of cocaine packaged for distribution;
quantities of heroin packaged for distribution; and
distribution indicators such as a functioning digital scale, unused wax bags, and various quantities of U.S. Currency.
The defendants currently face various firearm and narcotics charges.
At arraignment in Central Berkshire District Court, Lameek Thomas, of Pittsfield, had his bail revoked on an open narcotics case out of Central Berkshire District Court and was held as a danger; Tyshawn Frasier, of the Bronx, NY, had bail set at $10,000 cash; Messiah Antone, of the Bronx, NY, had bail set at $10,000 cash; Tyshawn Perry, of the Bronx, NY, had bail set at $7,500 cash; and Shawn Barnwell, of Pittsfield, had bail set at $2,500 cash.
Assistant District Attorney Heather Valentine took the lead on the case for the District Attorney's Office.
