Fresh Takes: Emerging Art Historians Explore The Clark Collection
The Clark, Williamstown
Experience the Clark's permanent collection in a new light this Friday as a Williams College art history graduate students share their thoughts on an object in the collection through the perspective of new scholarship.
Partake in this tour and other events at the Clark for free thanks to its Free for Three program.
The program offers free admission to the museum's galleries and events until March 30. Meet in the Museum Pavilion.
Showing of 'All the Beauty and the Bloodshed'
Images Cinema, Williamstown
Images Cinema will be hosting a showing of "All the Beauty and the Bloodshed" this Friday at 3:30 p.m.
The film depicts the personal life of artist and activist Nan Goldin as she evolves as an artist, fights mental health issues and attempts to hold the Sackler family accountable for the opioid crisis.

Images is also hosting the New York Cat Film Festival on Saturday at 1:30. This 90-minute event features a curated showing of international shorts revolving around cats. Ten percent of ticket sales will benefit the Berkshire Humane Society.

Greylock Photography Group Meet-Up: White Birches in Winter
West Mountain Road, Adams
Mount Greylock State Reservation will be hosting a free photography group meetup this Saturday from 1 until 2:30 p.m.
During the event, attendees will walk a snowy trail to capture images of the birch tree groves and view up to the summit.
Meet up at the Gould Trailhead parking lot on West Mountain Road to participate in this free 1 1/2 mile long hike.
The trails may be covered in snow and ice so dress appropriately and don't forget to bring your camera or your cell phone.
This program is open to all ages and skill levels. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Free Public Skating Opportunity
Boys & Girls Club of the Berkshires, Pittsfield
The city of Pittsfield Recreation Program and the Boys & Girls Club of the Berkshires have once again teamed up to provide a free public skating opportunity to the community.
The first 100 people through the door will receive free admission and skate rentals from 3 until 4:30 p.m.
Comedy @ Bright Ideas Brewing
Bright Ideas Brewing, North Adams
Laugh over a drink at Bright Ideas located on the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Arts campus during the 90-minute event. The comedy evening is hosted every second Saturday of the month starting at 8 p.m.
This event is produced by Iconix Productions in collaboration with Bright Ideas Brewing. Tickets are $10 to $15 and can be purchased here.
The Comedy Grotto

Want to watch a live comedy performance but don't live close enough to North Adams? No worries, the Flat Burger Society has your back.
The venue will be hosting New York-based standup comedian Carmen Lagala this Saturday at 8 p.m.
This is an adult comedy show so attendees younger than 18 will not be admitted. Lineup is subject to change without notice. No refunds unless the event is canceled.
Lagala has performed her clean material on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" and on Comedy Central, and her absolutely filthy material at the New York Comedy Club.
Doors open at 5 p.m. and attendees are requested to arrive by 6:30 if they intend on having dinner.

The region's first teen-run market, Roots Rising, will be having a indoor farmers market this Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the Zion Lutheran Church.
This market features live music, chef demos, workshops, children's activities and more.

Benson's Pet Center, Pittsfield
Benson's Pet Center will be providing a photo op for pets this Sunday from noon until 3 p.m.
For a $10 donation, pet parents can bring home a 4-by-6 inch framed keepsake. This month's participants have three themes to choose from: Winter Fun, Elvis Presley's Birthday, and SuperBowl.
2023 Berkshire Wedding Expo
The Stationery Factory, Dalton
Anyone planning on getting married in the Berkshires should check out the annual wedding exposition. More than 60 vendors will be on hand to talk about their professional services from 9 to 1 and a luncheon with workshops and a fashion show will follow from 1 to 3.

Williams College's contemporary music ensemble will be performing its new sounds and music this Friday through Sunday.
Their work features music by composers of different backgrounds, perspectives, and musical practices and explores new modes of performance and expression.
The group will be performing at various time at Williams College Museum of Art, the Clark and '62 Center for Theatre and Dance.
