BCC '40 Under Forty' Awards to Resume Spring Schedule 01:49PM / Wednesday, February 01, 2023 | |
PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Berkshire Community College (BCC) announced it will host its 40 Under Forty awards in March 2024.
The hiatus in 2023 will allow the event to get back on track after its annual springtime schedule was disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
For the last two years, the event was held in September, whereas it historically takes place in March. The College plans to resume the springtime schedule, resetting the event with nominations opening this fall.
"40 Under Forty is truly one of the most special events we hold at BCC, and we are thrilled to be able to resume our spring schedule in 2024," said BCC President Ellen Kennedy. "I know the Berkshires community will once again nominate amazing people, and I’m looking forward to giving them the recognition they deserve."
According to the press release: The 40 Under Forty awards are an annual celebration of talented millennials and Generation Z professionals in the Berkshires who have shown their support for the region through leadership, community service and a deep dedication to improving the quality of life for those living and working in the community.
Nominations will open in fall 2023.
