Berkshire County is hosting a variety of events this spring weekend including jazz festivals, markets, and more.

There will be jazz performances throughout downtown Pittsfield including Hot Plate Brewing and the Berkshire Athenaeum beginning Friday, April 21, through April 30.
Thursday
Vinyl Night
Methuselah Bar and Lounge, Pittsfield
Start your weekend early with music by DJ Pup Daddy spinning classics from the "British Invasion" music phenomenon from 8 to 11 p.m.
The invasion is occurred between 1964 and 1967 when British bands including The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, took over the radio and music charts.
Candle Magic Workshops
Witch Slapped, Pittsfield
There will be three workshops for kids to decorate a candle donated by Soma's Aromas.

All Over the Map Performance

All Over the Map plays from 6:30 until 9:30 p.m. The band features Shyne members Brad Licht and Zoltan Nemeth. More information here.
Documentary Screening
Williams College Museum of Art, Williamstown
Cecilia Aldarondo's documentary film "Memories of a Penitent Heart" is being screened from 4 to 6 p.m. as part of her solo exhibition "Mirrored Interiors."
The documentary combines recently discovered home movies, video, and written documents to explore themes ranging from identity, family, and memory.
Dance Party with DJ BFG

The Factory's monthly dance party is happening at 8 p.m. The last three parties sold out.
Dress in your finest fashions from the late 1900s and dance to end-the-century classics from the 1970s, '80s and '90s.
Drag Storytime
Witch Slapped, Pittsfield
Local drag artist Miz Rebel, her young daughter Miz Sparkle, and Mi2le2nial will be set up in three different rooms reading books and answering questions for kids from 2 until 4 p.m.

Carr Hardware and Scotts will be providing kids the opportunity to plant their own mini garden from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Search for the hidden Lorax in downtown Williamstown at participating businesses from noon until 2 p.m.
The Liquid Courage Band Performance
Dalton American Legion
The classic rock band will be performing from 7 until 10 p.m. The event is 21 and older and there will be a $5 cover charge at the door.
The Dream Away Lodge Reopening Party
Dream Away Lodge, Becket
The lodge will have a reopening party from 5 p.m. until midnight.
The night will include performances by Mike and Ruthy of The Mammals at 8 p.m. There will be a full bar and food from chef in residence Brian Alberg and The Break Room team.
The restaurant is not taking reservations yet but expects to be able to in June. More information here.

After three years of research and development eco-friendly umbrella company Dri Umbrellas is having a launch of its umbrellas made from recycled ocean-bound plastic at 2 p.m. More information here.

Brunch for a Cause

The bistro is hosting a fundraising event from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. to support BFAIR. The event features live music by Lindsay Anne, a 50/50 raffle, and raffle prizes.
Tickets are $45 per person, 30 percent of the proceeds go to BFAIR in support of people with all abilities.

Downtown Pittsfield Inc. will be having a story walk featuring Cara Peckham-Krol's book "Fairy Slippers: Molly Saves the Bees" starting at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Participants will stop at a dozen downtown locations to follow the story. A list of locations are available here.
Daffodil and Tulip Festival
Naumkeag, Stockbridge
Stroll through eight acres of garden stocked with thousands of daffodil, tulip and other bulbs. The first floor of the mansion will be open for tours, a popup shop will be at the greenhouse and refreshments available at the cafe.
