Berkshire county is hosting a variety of events this weekend including markets, competitions, and more.
Winterpills plays at the Dream Away this Saturday.

Third Thursday
Pittsfield Common, East Street
Time: 5 to 8 p.m.
Third Thursday returns on the Common. This month's theme is youth and the evening will include entertainment on the mainstage and activities, food and vendors.
The presenting sponsor is General Dynamics Mission Systems, which will be offering an interactive plant a seed experiment.
The festivities will also include balloon animal creations, live musical performances, and more.
Thursday
Eatza Pizza Berkshire County Pizza Restaurant Competition
Berkshire Hills Country Club, Pittsfield
Time: 6 p.m.
Local pizzarias will face off at Pittsfield Community Television's "Eatza Pizza" contest in categories including People's Choice.
Participating restaurants include Dalton HD Pizza, PortaVia, Dewey's Public House, Papa Johns, Papa Joes, Zucco's, Locker Room, KJ Nosh, and Anna's Pizza.
The night also includes a cash bar, entertainment, and raffles. Tickets cost $20 and $10 for ages 12 and under.

Friday
Faculty Art Show Opening Reception
Berkshire Art Center, Stockbridge
Time: 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.
The Berkshire Art Center will showcase work from its faculty artists with an opening reception in the Stairwell Gallery at Citizens Hall.

Saturday
Berkshire Concert Choir
Berkshire Community College, Pittsfield
Time: 3 to 4 p.m.
Berkshire Concert Choir will perform "Carmina Burana" by Carl Orff with vocal soloists, two pianos and 5 percussion.
Tickets cost $15 to $20 and a portion of sales will benefit Berkshire organizations that serve Christian Center of Pittsfield to help them assist disadvantaged communities and individuals.
The Refrigerators with the Hotshot Hillbillies
The Stationery Factory, Dalton
Time: 7:30 p.m.
New York based funk/R&B dance/party band The Refrigerators will be performing with local rocking band Hotshot Hillbillies.
Tickets cost $30 and will help support The Lions Club, the Wahconah football team and 12th Man Go Blue.
The Lions club will use the funds to buy eyeglasses and hearing aids for the needy and give a scholarship to Wahconah. The 12th Man Go Blue will use the money to help fund its football programs for Dalton Youth Football and High School.
Winterpills
Dream Away Lodge, Becket
Time: 8 p.m.
"Dark chamber" pop band Winterpills performs at the reopened Dream Away.
Linden St. Market
55 Linden St., Pittsfield
Time: Noon
The market will include products from 30 vendors including, vintage clothing, upcyclers, artist collection, and local business.
Craft Fair And Tag Sale
Laston Memorial Park, Lanesborough
Time: 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Help support the fundraising efforts of the Lanesborough-New Ashford Dollars for Scholars by shopping with local vendors.
Dave Brown Solo Set + NAMI Fundraiser
Hot Plate Brewing Co., Pittsfield
Time: 7 p.m.
The brewery will be hosting live music by local guitarist Dave Brown to celebrate American Craft Beer Week
Great Barrington Farmers Market
18 Church St., Great Barrington
Time: 9 to 1.
The market is open every Saturday.
Every week there will be locally grown food, flowers, and plants along with other local vendors.
Pittsfield Farmers Market
The Common, Pittsfield
Time: 9 to 1.
Powered by Roots Rising, the market is open every Saturday rain or shine.
Each week the market will have fresh locally grown fruits and vegetables, along with meat, eggs, cheese, baked goods by local vendors. Participants can shop for flowers, and artisan goods while listening to music and participate in family activities.

The Met: Live In HD 'Don Giovanni'
Clark Art Institute, Williamstown
Time: 12:55 until 4:40 p.m.
The museum will be streaming the Metropolitan Opera's "Don Giovanni" in high-definition that will feature the full performance along with backstage interviews and commentary.
